Private Family Services for Robert R. “Bob” Morrisette will be held at a later date under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball, Louisiana.
Robert R. “Bob” Morrisette, age 81 of Alexandria, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Monday, March 11, 2024, at his home in Alexandria, surrounded by his loving family.
Bob is preceded in death by his wife, Leigh Morrisette; his grandson, Ryan Adam Morrisette; his parents, Christopher Roy Morrisette and Annelle Crawford Morrisette; and his sister, Joanne Davis.
He is survived by his loving children, Robert Morrisette (Carrie), Scott Morrisette (Tonya), Yvie Williams (Jimmy), Jason Morrisette (Alana), Drew Morrisette (Jessica), and Casey Morrisette (Bryan); his 3 step-children, Leah Hunter (Kyle), Shannon Deville (Terri), and Dana Belgard (Jason); his 19 grandchildren ; his numerous great grandchildren; his sister, Barbara Winn; a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Bob, a proud US Air Force Veteran, enjoyed watching old westerns and old car shows on television and anything to do with agriculture like tractors, horses, and cows. He had a great sense of humor. Above all, his passion was spending time with his family and friends. A wonderful father, grandfather, step-father, brother, and friend, he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
