Condolence: I know this is belated, but I still want to share my condolences. I am so sorry for your loss. It's a loss to the world, truly. Jerome was a wonderful human being. He was a dear friend and father figure when I needed one to talk to with about navigating life. He shared his love of music freely. He helped me think about perspectives other than my own, and enjoyed joking around to boot. I can't think about him without remembering how dedicated he was to teaching and helping his students flourish. It was privilege to call him a friend. I knew him from the Gap of Rohan and was reminiscing about that recently - that community was unique and such a treasure. That is what led me here.
I debated with myself about sharing this comment now as it has been awhile, but since my mother passed away a couple years ago, I still go back to her memorial page hoping to see new comments and learn of ways she touched others in the world. So I thought maybe I should share after all. I hope this is okay.

Condolence: Heartfelt condolences. I will always remember Jerome with the fondest of memories. He and Mr. Martinez are the reason I fell in love with music, especially drums. I use to love listen to Jerome but watching him was a performance in and of itself. You could just tell how passionate he was about music. I know that he made such a positive impact on so many young musicians - he will be missed by so many more.
