William Wilmot
Funeral services for Mr. William Wilmot will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2016 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with Reverend David Kimsey officiating. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball, Louisiana under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.
Mr. William Wilmot, age 82, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Dubuis Hospital, Alexandria, Louisiana.
Mr. Wilmot was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force for over 28 years. He retired
as a Senior Master Sergeant in charge of the propulsion shop for the USAF Thunderbirds. He loved his family, playing the guitar, fishing, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara McEvoy Wilmot; parents, John and Ramona Wilmot; brother, Johnny Wilmot; sister, Elida; grandson, Rhonald “Dain” Rairdan.
He is survived by his son, R. Michael Fite, of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; four daughters, Pamela F. Fuqua (Randy) of Alexandria, Kimberly A. Wilmot Rairdan (David) of San Antonio, Texas, Annette Wilmot Ellis (Peter) of Wichita Falls, Texas and Jenny Wilmot of Decatur, IL.; three brothers, George Wilmot, Gilbert Wilmot and Gary Wilmot; four sisters, Suzie, Elizabeth, Sally and Mary; three grandchildren, William Kyle Rairdan, Kristen Danielle Ellis and Kevin Tanner Ellis; one great-grandchild, Lazarus Axle Rairdan.
Friends may call on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana and on Thursday, October 20th at 9:00 a.m. until time of services.
